What Are Numbers and why are they Useful?

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by numbers. We have numbers to show time, numbers that count things in order to measure things, numbers to show how many things we have and even numbers to create things. There are complex numerals, absurd numbers along with Roman numerals. This type of number has a long heritage and are still being used even today. Here are a few tips to think about when thinking about these numbers.

Ancient Egyptians
